About MRPS PIE
MRPS Partners in Education Corporation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit charitable organization founded in January 2019.
PIE works through the parent/caregiver groups for each of the Montpelier/Roxbury district schools. Working with staff, students and families, we identify areas of need that are outside of the school budget and provide targeted grants to fill these niches. We also connect with local organizations and community members, raise funds, and host events like the Montpelier Fall Festival, school staff appreciation events and local charitable giving.
MONTPELIER FALL FESTIVAL
MRPS PIE’s annual fundraiser is a free, city-wide event held on the beautiful Vermont State House lawn. The festival is free for participants, but raises money through grants from local businesses and donations from individuals, at the festival and throughout the year.
This annual event has become a favorite for students, staff and families in Montpelier and Roxbury. Each year, about 1,500 people participate from around Central Vermont.
Thanks to hard working volunteers, loyal sponsors and generous community, the Montpelier Fall Festival has raised over $90,000 to support local public schools!
